Frequently Asked Questions
About the Guild
Is Insider Trading a casual or hardcore guild?
We are a casual guild focused on building an active community. While we have no strict activity requirements, we encourage members to participate in Discord and guild events when possible. We understand that real life comes first and maintain a relaxed, flexible approach to gameplay.
How can I join the guild?
You can join by either contacting an officer in-game or joining our Discord server and filling out a brief application form. Once approved, you'll receive an invite to both the in-game guild and Discord server as a Recruit.
Are there ranks and can I be promoted?
Instead of traditional ranks, we use a role-based system. Members and Brokers share the same rank, but Brokers have additional access to guild resources for economic activities in exchange for sharing profits. Directors and VPs are leadership roles that help manage guild operations and lead teams toward specific goals.
Guild Stock System
What is the guild stock system?
Members can purchase shares in the guild which provide several benefits: voting rights on guild decisions, monthly dividends based on holdings and share price, the ability to sell shares back to the guild for potential profit, and double entries in guild giveaways.
Do I have to buy shares if I don't want to?
No, the stock system is completely optional. It's simply an additional feature that provides extra benefits for those interested in participating.
How is the share price determined?
The share price is calculated daily based on several factors:
- Active guild membership
- Achievements
- Gold earnings
- Guild accomplishments
- Market demand for shares
Higher guild activity and success in these areas drives the share price up, while lower performance can cause it to decrease. This encourages shareholders to actively participate in guild activities to increase the value of their investment.
How do I buy and sell shares?
Buying and selling shares is performed via in-game mail. Detailed information on the process to do so can be found on our stock page under Stock Market Regulations.
What happens if there are no more shares to buy?
If all shares become allocated, guild leadership may propose a share split to create new shares. This requires shareholder approval through a vote, as it would dilute existing share value.
